Bethel Baptist Church was established in 1853. We are the second oldest church in our association (Bowen).
Our congregation is loving, caring, and working together to fulfill the Great Commission that the Lord Jesus Christ gave us in Matthew 28:19-20 when he said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Operation Total Contact
We need volunteers to lead the following Team Representatives from Bethel for Operation Total Contact (OTC). Our Associational Revival is March 2009. These teams help make those preparations leading up to the Revival. Contact Bro. Newton if you would like to volunteer.

Associational Men's Ministry and WOM Meeting
The meeting will be held at Mt. Zion on May 15th. 6:00 p.m.. We must have a strong showing to keep the Attendance Banner. West Street challenged us to take it at the last meeting....
4th Sunday Sing and Covered Dish Supper
Conference for May
Conference for May will be held the 3rd Sunday not the 2nd Sunday. The second Sunday is Mother's Day.
VBS
Our Vacation Bible School will be held in July this year. July 20-25, 2008, 6:00-9:00 (tentative). More info. to come. Please be in prayer for the VBS. If you would like to volunteer for work in this event contact Charla Cranford.
